Recent Gran Hotel Cervantes Review: "We spend 1 week holidays with my wife and 2 daughters of 2 and 6. Location of the hotel are perfect a€“ right on the main street - where a lot of shops, cafes, etc. Train station a€“ only 4 minutes walk. But it is underground station a€“ no problems with noise. It takes only 20 minutes to reach to the Airport by train and 10 minutes by taxi (15-17 euros).  Hotel stays not right on the beach, but it is not far from see a€“ a way to the beach was about 5 minutes. We recommend to use a special lift to beach in Torremolinos, ita€™s cost only 50 cent. This lift right in front of the hotel. Hotel facilities are also great a€“ nice pool with garden near the main building and pool on the roof with amazing view of Torremolinos. Animation was not so interesting for us a€“ but ita€™s typical for Spain. There are kid club, but we don't use it. Rooms are quite good, clean, well furnished and its size is OK, so it was not problem to have ex. bed and baby cot for our children in standard twin/double. We have Half board plan so: the food was great. Everyone can choose something one his taste. A lot on fruits, fish food was very tasty, good meat dishes and so so on. In fact it is very good 4star hotel and we recommend it for everyone for holidays on Costa del Sol"

A short guide to Torremolinos

There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the region’s major theme park.
